1- Make sure to wear appropriate shoes (length, width and wear). Therefore, it is all the more important to have shoes corresponding to your foot type in order to avoid any possible injuries (flat foot, hollow, normal).
2- Start your training by running gradually (for example, if you haven’t run much during winter). Do not hesitate to combine running and walking !
3- Listen to your body to recognize signs of pain to prevent the situation from worsening.
4- Above all, don’t forget to warm up.
If you have any additional issues about your training or if you are having persistent pain, feel free to contact us for a biomechanical evaluation or an analysis of your running technique.
Enjoy the beautiful weather and keep running through the streets of Quebec !
